3 Month Push to Supervisor

by Nancy Ann Wartman

In deciding to promote to supervisor you are making a commitment to yourself to work your Usborne business toward this goal. This is your business and you are the one who will achieve this goal. Your supervisor is here to support you in this effort, however she can’t do the work for you. You are building your own organization of people!

You can promote to supervisor in a 3 month push.

Month #1 - This is your serious recruiting month and you’ll want to set a busy booking schedule for this month and the following one. Look where recruits are coming from and go there more! If you are recruiting at home shows, then you may want to book 2-3 home shows a week during this time. (I have seen cases where things are moving so quickly that this is month #2, so if you have a lot of your people and they’re selling well, you should watch your group sales - you would need $2000 net group sales, with at least $700 net of that being your personal sales.)

Month #2 - Help your recruits to really get selling - take each of them to your home shows, bookfairs, fundraisers or even school calls with you, so they can catch your enthusiasm and learn from what you do and say. (Remember you need 5 people to become Bronze by the end of the 3rd month, so they really need to get excited about their business!) You need $2000 group net sales (at least $700 personal) this month and your new recruits may or may not carry a lot of that weight for you. You need to be quite active selling this month. To help make sure your group gets their orders to the home office by the cut-off date you may wish to offer to help write up the orders.  You can track order shipment by consultant ID# online.

Month #3 - This month is the BRONZE month. Make sure you have 5 Bronze recruits by the end of the month. Again, you need $2000 group net sales, with at least $700 personal net sales. This month is usually easier to get the sales because your group is into the groove and selling. You really need to watch them to make sure they get their orders in to the home office by the cut off. Again, you can track order shipment by consultant ID# online - you have a lot to rebuild if they miss the deadline!

CONGRATULATIONS! YOU’RE A SUPERVISOR!

THE SKY’S THE LIMIT WHEN YOUR HEART’S IN IT!
